Love In A Brown Bag

It's morning, my grandchildren aren't up, yet,

How familiar is this pattern from generation

DIIV Brings Down The House

Reivew of a Recent 9:30 Show

"Please pirate our music," Zachary Cole, a thin, barely visible figure obscured by an enormous multicolored patchwork cardigan, says to the crowd in a voice like velvet. The band DIIV catches air after their first song having played at a noticeably faster pace than their recorded version. This was unexplainable, but likely a conscious choice by the musicians who may have felt that any tangibleness of the songs would have faded in such a large setting.

Dear Problem Lady

If I stick geranium shoots in water until roots form and then plant them in potting soil, can my healthy geranium plant overwinter indoors?

Probably yes. You can also put the shoots directly into potting soil at once – minus any buds or blooms. Another way to overwinter tropical (Pelargonium) geranium plants is to bring the entire plant indoors, either in its pot or bare-root. There are excellent YouTube online illustrating both methods (Google “overwinter geranium”).
