ABC Board Approves Bullfrog's Liquor Application

Operating Restrictions Imposed

In an order issued this morning, The DC Alcoholic Control Board approved Bullfrog Bagel’s application for a New Retailer’s Class CR License and Sidewalk Café Endorsement at their new location at 317 Seventh St. SE. The application had been opposed by immediate neighbors, who feared an increase in noise. Recognizing the validity of their concerns, the Board restricted Bullfrog's operations in its order.

The Board’s order limits the hours of operation on the establishment’s balcony to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays. It further restricts the hours during which alcoholic beverages may be served on the balcony to Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The order also prohibits Bullfrog from removing trash from the establishment’s second floor down the back stairway after 11 p.m. and before 6 a.m. No deliveries can be received between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The Board advised Bullfrog to comply with the occupancy restrictions in its future Certificate of Occupancy. The Board’s order limits occupancy to 90 people.
