Arrest Made in December 2016 Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse Incident

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch announced that an arrest has been made in a Misdemeanor Child Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Wednesday December 7, 2016 in the 1800 block of East Capitol Street, Southeast.

At about 4:00 p.m. on that date, an unknown suspect engaged in sexually suggestive conduct with a juvenile victim as the victim walked in the 1800 block of East Capitol Street Southeast.

On Monday August 21, a 41 year-old man from Bowie Maryland man was arrested on charges of Misdemeanor Child Sexual Abuse.

At 4:44 p.m. Tuesday, there was a burglary on the 1400 block of G Street SE.

At 8:08 p.m. Tuesday, there was a robbery on the 1500 block of East Capitol Street NE.

At 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, there was a robbery on the 600 block of E Street NE.
