Capitol Hill Community Foundation Collecting Donations at Eastern Market

Volunteers Needed

The Capitol Hill Community Founation is coordinating the fundraising to aid those impacted by the Frager's Fire. It plans to manage the funds in a manner similar to it relief of Eastern Market merchants in 2007. CHCF distributes 100% of all donations. It is a volunteer driven 501(c)(3) organization with zero administrative overhead.

On Sunday, June 9, the Capitol Hill Community Foundation (CHCF) will have a booth at Eastern Market to accept contributions for Frager's relief. The booth will be there from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CHCF is looking for volunteers to staff the booth in shifts from 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., and 2 to 4 p.m. The organization also plans to have a booth at Eastern Market on the weekends of June 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30. Volunteers are needed for the same time slots on those dates. If you can volunteer please email Gary Peterson at pgarylaw@aol.com.
