Frager's Hardware employees were hard at work this morning loading trucks in front of the devestated store. Fortunately, the Garden Center largely survived the fire intact. It will reopen on the slab that formerly housed the temporary Eastern Market this Sunday.

Mayor Vincent C. Gray will officially welcome Frager's to Eastern Market tomorrow, Sunday, June 9 at noon. Supporters are asked come wearing Frager's tee-shirts and hats. The Garden Shop will open immediately after.

The Capitol Hill Community Foundation will have a booth at Eastern Market today to take donations for their fund to aid the employees, residents and businesses displaced by the Frager's Fire. Online contributions can be made at Friends of Frager's.
