Man Arrested in Southeast on Charges of Threats to Do Bodily Harm

At 1:02 p.m. Thursday, a man was arrested on the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE on charges of Threats to Do Bodily Harm.

At 1:37 p.m. Thursday, a man was arrested on the Unit block of Independence Avenue SE on charges of Threats to Kidnap or Injure a Person.

At 3:20 p.m. Thursday, there was a robbery on the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue SE.

At 8:05 p.m. Thursday, a woman was arrested on the 400 block of M Street SE on charges of Vandalizing, Damaging, Destroying or Taking Property of a Government Official.

At 11:03 p.m. Thursday, there was an attempt to commit robbery on the Unit block of 19th Street NE.

Reporting Illegal Activity

Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities helps prevent crime. If a citizen sees suspicious activity, or any activity that seems out of the ordinary, immediately call 911.

When reporting suspicious activity, give an accurate description. Here are some things to include:

  • Brief description of the activity;
  • Date, time and location of the activity;
  • Physical identifiers of anyone you observed;
  • Descriptions of vehicles;
  • Information about where people involved in suspicious activities may have gone;
  • Your name and contact information.
