Prepare now — no Metro trains will run between Foggy Bottom and Eastern Market from Feb. 4-5. That includes the Orange, Blue and Silver line stations Farragut West, McPherson Square, Federal Triangle, Smithsonian, Federal Central SW and Capitol South.

Metro will offer shuttle buses for free between the two stations, but Metro warned travelers it may add an extra 45 minutes to their trip.

The lower platforms at Metro Center (Blue, Silver, Orange) will also be closed. The Red line will stay open. L’Enfant Plaza will also stay open for Yellow and Green lines, but not the Orange, Silver and Blue.

Metro plans to install cell phone and radio support in the tunnels, fix ceiling tiles and continue to fix the track rails, fasteners and insulators, WMATA said in a release Feb. 1
