Two Arrested for Operating Off-Road Vehicles

Weekend Crime Blotter: July 21-23

Friday

At 9:17 a.m. Friday, a man was arrested at the First District Substation on charges of Operation of All-Terrain Vehicles and Dirt Bikes.

At 9:27 a.m. Friday, a man was arrested at the First District Substation on charges of Operation of All-Terrain Vehicles and Dirt Bikes.

At 6:20 p.m. Friday, a woman was arrested on the 1900 block of D Street SE on charges of Threats To Do Bodily Harm.

At 6:14 a.m. Friday, there was a robbery on the 1900 block of M Street NE.

At 10:37 p.m. Friday, there was a robbery on the 1100 block of East Capitol Street SE. 

Saturday

At 5:10 p.m. Saturday, a man was arrested on the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue  SE on charges of Threats to Kidnap or Injure a Person.

At 7:01 p.m. Saturday, a man was arrested on the 400 block of M Street SE on charges of Assault With a Dangerous Weapon.

Sunday

At 12:33 a.m. Sunday, a woman was arrested on the 600 block of 15th Street NE on charges of First Degree Cruelty to Children.

At 11:20 a.m. Sunday, a man was arrested on the 700 block of 15th Street SE on charges of Threats to Kidnap or Injure a Person.

At 3:44 p.m. Sunday, there was a burglary on the 1400 block of D Street SE.

At 7:10 p.m. Sunday, a man was arrested on the 2000 block of I Street NE on charges of Burglary One.

Reporting Illegal Activity

Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities helps prevent crime. If a citizen sees suspicious activity, or any activity that seems out of the ordinary, immediately call 911.

When reporting suspicious activity, give an accurate description. Here are some things to include:

  • Brief description of the activity;
  • Date, time and location of the activity;
  • Physical identifiers of anyone you observed;
  • Descriptions of vehicles;
  • Information about where people involved in suspicious activities may have gone;
  • Your name and contact information.
