Two Arrested for Sexual Solicitation in Northeast

At 10:46 p.m. Wednesday, a man was arrested on the 900 block of Second Street NE on charges of Sexual Solicitation.

At 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, a woman was arrested on the 800 block of Eighth Street NE on charges of Sexual Solicitation.

At 11:39 a.m. Monday, a man was arrested on the 900 block of 17th Street NE on charges of Simple Assault on a Police Officer.

In Other News

At 11:03 p.m. Wednesday, there was an assault in a robbery attempt on the 700 block of Seventh Street SE.

At 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, a car was stolen on the 600 block of D Street SE. 

At 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, there was a robbery on the 100 block of Seventh Street NE.

Reporting Illegal Activity

Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities helps prevent crime. If a citizen sees suspicious activity, or any activity that seems out of the ordinary, immediately call 911.

When reporting suspicious activity, give an accurate description. Here are some things to include:

  • Brief description of the activity;
  • Date, time and location of the activity;
  • Physical identifiers of anyone you observed;
  • Descriptions of vehicles;
  • Information about where people involved in suspicious activities may have gone;
  • Your name and contact information.
