Woodson and Ballou Meet on the Hardwood
The Ward 7 Education Council invited East of the River residents to H.D. Woodson Senior High School to watch the boys’ and girls’ Warriors basketball teams play Ballou High School’s Knights. Despite the score, which favored the Warriors – girls 71-17, boys 79-65 – both games were exciting, end-to-end, high-flying, fair play.
