48 College Round-Up: Program Links Students to College Dreams • by Khadijah Ali-Coleman. This past March, College Round-up brought together over twenty-five Historically Black Colleges and Universities to Edgecombe Community College’s auditorium in North Carolina to interview students. At-large councilmember Kwame Brown organized two buses of students from Anacostia and Ballou High School to attend the event, and participated as a speaker himself sharing his own personal journey to college.
